Can you believe its been 20 years already?  To get a persepective of how long its been, lets take a look at some events that were happening in 1990...

• Rosanne Barr sings the National Anthem (I use the word sing very lightly..)
• Nelson Mandella was released from prison
• Jim Henson died...and Kermit will never be the same!
• The Hubble Space Telescope was launched
• Tim Berners-Lee invents the 'world wide web' (couldn't imagine life without it now!)
• Milli Vanilli were stripped of their Grammy after discovering they were not really singing

Prices in 1990:

• A new home cost $123,000
• The average income was $28,970
• The average cost of a new car was $16,000
• A gallon of gas was $1.34

Entertainment in 1990:

• On our televisions:  Married with Children, MacGyver, Cheers, Matlock, The Cosby Show
• On our radios: Technotronic, C&C Music Factory, MC Hammer, Tone Loc, Sinead O'Connor, Jon Bon Jovi, Madonna, Aerosmith, Paula Abdul, Young MC, New Kids on the Block
• In the movies:  Home Alone was the top movie in 1990

So it seems much has changed since 1990 which is part of the reason why I'm so excited to see all of you again for our 20th Class Reunion this year!  A group of us are working on hammering out all of the reunion weekend details and will post it to this website as soon as we have everything settled!  We're also looking at hosting a fundraising bowling event in April...we'll post any new details soon!  For now, go ahead and sign in, post some old and new pics and spread the word to all our alumni friends!!
